In 2024, I was still finishing my degree in Biology, in the University of UAB (Barcelona). I decided to do an international university exchange, and go to study for a whole semester in the University of Hawaii at Manoa. That was one of the best decisions I could have ever taken, because the experience and the amount I learned about photography, opened up a new world of possibilities for me.

The trip

Together with my friends, we learned to surf, I learned to take underwater pictures, we traveled across three different islands (Oahu, Big island and Kauai) and we made an incredible bond between us and other exchange students, which I still have till this day. It was a new perspective to learn about nature, and involve it in my creative path as a photographer.

ps. I do have a Biology degree haha
